re: crashes through 8500 .. 9000? Oh no the terrorists are going to kill us in Sydney because of Iraq are they? Wake up! If they could they would regardless of Iraq, does Bali ring a bell or 9/11?
We did nothing about Hitler until it was too late, should we wait until these extremists kill a million or so of us in one hit? Saddam is an enemy of the west and has terrorist ties. If he doesn’t why are all the anti war people scared about ‘increased’ terrorist attacks! After the last few terrorist attacks these extremist lost the right to hide behind rouge states, the rouge states lost the right to hide behind terrorists and they both lost the right to only have blood shed on our turf.
Sure the US are happy they have secured most of the oil wells. Who do you think will have to pay to put them out? How do you think they’ll rebuild Iraq? How do you think they’ll pay for the war? That’s right with iraqi oil. The wealth of the iraqi people, not the US’s and not Saddam’s. What I know will be seen however, is dancing in the streets by the iraqi people, once Saddam has been removed. Freedom of the iraqi people isnt the US’s number 1 goal, it’s the removal of a Saddam and weapons of mass destruction. Saddam has had 12 bloody years to comply, and hasn’t! If he lied about that, why wouldn’t he lie about terrorist links?
Lastly I just want to note how pathetic the UN is. They have the perfect opportunity now to sort out N Korea yet do nothing. Once the US has finished with Iraq, their attention will be on them. The US either pay the blackmail to keep world peace or destroy them. Why cant the UN step up now? Cant they see there is a problem. Fact is they are happy to leave it to the US, the US has been then UN’s watchdog and it’s the watchdog that cops any revenge and all the criticism.
It would be lovely to think if we all closed our eyes and pray, all the worlds problems will go away. They wont! This is my line of thinking formed from listening to arguments from both sides. I would love for there to be no war and have world peace, but have heard NO solutions from the anti-war people. Terrorist’s have made it clear they want us dead, what are we to do?
