There are no hard and fast rules.
I have followed (and been a shareholder) for 10 years.
My opinion is that the price is currently being capped by someone for some reason.
Two options IMHO :-
- a capital raising or
I repeat my post of a week ago -
"Maybe it is a concerted effort to lower the vwap over a period of time so that Northern / Chatchai can come in with a takeover price which is say :- "30% above the vwap over the past month" !
Big difference between the vwap being say 38c (reasonable average at the moment) and say 45c where it logically should be, when you are considering up to 200 million shares
Right now, I think that low 50s would be successful, if we continue with the current oil price recovery, then this looks a lot less likely.
Chatchai has proved to be astute to this point - let's see if he makes a move soon."
Now today someone lost patience and went to 40.5c to get some - closer to the end game ?
