It beats me why many keep saying the prices for LYC are on the increase?
These two charts do NOT show improvement yet imo! What they show is the prices have bottomed for most of LYC sales of NdPrO2 and remained flat. Even the positive looking chart for Chinese domestic prices includes the effects of tax and regulation changes internal to China! if these changes are removed we end up with a chart looking like the FOB chart on the right. There has been no improvement in income derived from this price movement for NdPrO2 and the other REEs that LYC sells even looks worse IMO.
