No they are on the right track. Endoscopy is simply 'looking inside' and that very much includes ultrasound probes. In fact they are quite literally called endoscopic ultrasounds. I'm not an expert regarding Nansonics but I gather they have a technology that sterilises 'things' quickly, cheaply and effectively. So the tech is potentially useful for ANYTHING that enters the body. That includes all types endoscopy, ultrasound or no.
IN fact....I've convinced myself to have a closer look at NAN!!
