Mozz18. It appears you are unaware that Gillian Triggs was not appointed as Human Rights Commissioner until 2012 so all this babble about her doing nothing during the the six years of Labor Government is just plain wrong. The misinformation is criminal.
Also, Pugsley100 has posted a 2012 article that clearly demonstrated she expressed concerns to the previous government in regard to children in detention and a copy of a report had been released to the abc. This kind of attempted stitch up of someone holding a statutory position is a disgrace and reminiscent of governments that abuse their power.
It also seems strange that abbott is as merciless when slating Gillian Triggs as he was with Julia Gillard. At least Gillard was a politician but Triggs holds an independent position.
