The copper price is up strongly at the moment. Probably on news coming out of China plus the end of CNY holidays. Factories in China will be gearing up again and buying copper.
If the price moves back close to the $3 mark while DD goes on it should help push this deal through.
I wonder if management will reconsider mothballing the open cut operations if the price is back at $3.
