It appears that the existing management team will remain as per agreement. I would want to see details of agreement. If so, bad mistake by investor. However, the investor is big commodity trader and will not suffer fools gladly. The gold is there or the people who wrote the JORC report are in serious trouble. But this management have shown they do not know how to operate a mine.
