There is a difference between policies like trying to take money off the sick while planing to give the well off $75k to have babies, as opposed to policies that come across as a genuine attempt to address our budget issues.

I still have faith in the voters if a genuine plan was presented for Australia that didn't come across as ideologically targeting the less well off while rewarding mates and the well off.

The plan would need to be genuinely broad and initially would need to target rorts and tax avoidance\perks\concessions\etc.

Some of those tax perk\concessions will cost me extra dollars, but I still think they need to be reassessed and stopped or cut back. And I have no doubt there are many others like myself who wouldn't have a problem with supporting those changes provided it was part of a bigger picture and a genuine attempt to benefit Australia.
