That's something I posited a while ago .... the theory that you can "blind" a trial but can't "blind" the results. Even if doctors don't know whether their patients have been given the spheres, if they end up improving or living longer than expected, they'd be speculating that their patient was given the drug and that it works ...
PS: On the "UBS has now reviewed the results of earlier trials to get to its probability of success and $50 valuation", wouldn't you be a pit p***ed off as a client? I mean the timing of the SIRFLOX trial reporting and the results of earlier trials have been available for over two years. Why do the research now, when you could have done it when the SP was about $12?
