What the UN did is a matter of interpretation, the fact is it was done and not for those that were to benefit to change the distribution as they sought fit - i.e. make a land grab.

As I said defence is one thing but murderous expansionism is another. The tragedy is the Israelies have given jews a bad name and reinforced some old prejudices. You only have to read this site to know that.
