re: little sebatian pub lunch..report Report on my journey.
First the important stuff
Drilling completed at Sebastian ( for the moment at least
Drill rigs gone. ( there were 2 there I am told)
How the day unfolded
Headed off with wife just before midday.
Arrived at Pub 12.20..... only ones there
They dont serve lunch Mon Tues ( so the sandwiches I suggest earlier would have been a good idea )
Young bloke behind bar not too tuned in to the mining scene !!
Told me where the rigs were (Two rigs he told me)
The worked the rigs 24 hours a day.
The crew dont drink in pub but have stopped by to collect drinks...... and get this Im not making this up.. They dont speak english ... he thinks they are german !!!
So there you go Sabre !
At this stage Im wishing I really had brought along English /German dictionary.
Headed off in direction he said & couldnt see any rigs by the old workings where he said they were.( Frederick the Great Reef )
Started looking further afield but found nothing.
Asked a bloke walking a dog who said they had been gone about a week but directed us to exactly where they had been drilling.
Right next to old workings.
Did not get out of car & go in paddock to look as there was nothing to see.
I assume the rigs are now drilling elswehere on AXDs leases... which as Sabre points out are vast.
And we can also speculate that the recent flurry in price of AXD may have something to do with pending announcements re drill core assays from this recently work.
(I hasten to add tis is pure speulation on my part)
But one way or another, the results should be known soon.
Matbe the're saving them for AGM,
( which by the way Sabre, I will NOT be able to attend...so your're our man on the spot at that meeting)
