the stumbling block for IMwho's product - or now Merial's as it should be known - is that it originates in genetically modified material.

consumers willingly buy foodstuffs produced using genetically modified organisms the same way they embrace food laced with @rsenic.

the big test is whether anything produced using genetically modified material is acceptable to consumers. Right now it's not. Sort that out.

I'll tell you this. that if there's a product which can do what Merial's can do without going down the gene modification path - then that's the end of Merial's PPE.

and don't try blinding me with science - no residues etc...
