Good to hear you are learning... thats what this "game" is all about. We all learn something every day.
Cant answer your Q as to why WD Gann has such a following & there are so many books out there.
But I guess its because people are always looking for the "holy grail" of investing in the markets.
The idea is seductive, but is also a total illusion.
Equally for example I dont know why there are so many books and devotees of irridology, homeopathic medicine etc.
