Actually one of the problems with America is that a persons worth is judged by how much money they make.

Therefore people such as movie stars who rake in huge amounts of money for really doing very little have enormous influence with the public. One of them Ronald Reagan, even became president. The fact that half of the time he did not even know which country he was in did not appear to matter, he was a rich silver screen hero and that was enough.

In reality many of these people off-screen are drug addicted wrecks (not Reagan, he was just senile) with nothing of intellectual substance to offer the world, but they set the trends and the sheep follow.

Just an observation.
