Expanded graphite requiring premium natural flake graphite is used to produce graphite foils, an inert sealing material that is used in high temperature or high pressure applications such as high temperature gaskets, bipolar plates in fuel cells and computer heat sinks. Expanded graphite is also considered highly sought after in the battery market which is considered one of the key drivers for future demand.

   Now let's assume our stuff is expandable to the same number of times, let's say 1500, does that mean our stuff is the same quality or are there other factors that come into play. Hopefully you can explain it simply rather than refer me to some technical description. I think I read an article posted by Tobyjack elsewhere that oxidation was was a factor though I do read,a lot and sometimes my recall gets confused between topics, if so can you simply explain, are there any other factors.
