Re: Share Price.
Anything can happen. We now have a big presence in Europe, and a massive presence in America.
These markets buy stocks VERY differently. They will make a mess of anyone trying to trade or predict price movements.
Australia doesn't understand this space yet. They can't see it. There's few experts around.
Anyone want to see what Americans can do to and ASX listed company when they want stock, just look at LNG.
They don't think short term. They think 5 / 10 / 20 years in advance. They don't care about charts, and they will soak up everything they see as value and hold for a very long time.
IMO OS investors will tighten up the CVT register very shortly.
So how do you value a company like CVT? How can you gage what share price represents value? Extremely difficult. And i'm sure this will become a debated topic on HC soon.
CVT is a unique cyber stock that is very close to becoming profitable... has the best cloud solution... with a commercialisation strategy that is working... And is starting to get in bed with the biggest companies in the world.
This is absolutely unheard of for a cyber stock with a $220m MC. And this phase provides the best buying for the future IMO. I'm sure others will agree. And i reason why i don't think the 'missed the boat' comments are warranted. The boat hasn't even left the harbour yet.
I think many here will be very surprised with where the SP will be in a year or 2.
Most will be turned off when they look at the $220m market cap. But this needs to be taken in context to peers. And we are talking $10's of billions for current listed (un-profitable) cyber companies.
Even looking at the upcoming cyber IPO's in the US (Rapid7, LogRhytem, Mimecast and Veracode) are all listing this year with validations over $1b. All different companies attacking different issues but demand for these stocks, and their services are massive.
Another example, and a stock i own is CyberArk. CA is actually profitable, but trades on about 165x earnings...
How do people even get their heads around that! Thats how big this market is. And that's what investors are willing to pay and price in.
IMO CVT will use the Cisco deal as the hero story leading up to the NASDAQ listing.
Couldn't ask for a better story. Americans are going to go nuts for this stock. And so they should.
Where will the share price be in the years to come? No idea. But it's not going to be $0.50.
