I will put it down to basic terms for you because I understand you have difficulty - Nicknames are not official names. If your name is Andrew and people call you Andy, your license doesn't magically change to Andy, just like football clubs don't too. I hope you can understand this because quite frankly I've dumbed down as much as I possibly can.
In reference to your ladder position - It's alphabetical order which means that teams that start with the letter A are higher than teams that start with a letter further in the alphabet. I can give you examples if you would like them so you can understand. It is also the last time in the season you will be on the top of the ladder so appreciate it while its up there.
