    DBT9,

    you say,

    The Riddle of Epicurus~
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?

    i say,

The Riddle of the good parent,

If DBT9 is a Father and is willing to prevent any harm happening to his children by locking them in their bedrooms for the rest of their lives, but not able to, then is he a bad parent?
If DBT9 is a Father and able to prevent any harm happening to his children by locking them in their bedrooms for the rest of their lives, but not willing to, then is he a bad parent?
if DBT9, is a Father and is both able to and willing to, then why doesn't he, and if he doesn't, is he a bad parent?
if DBT9, is neither willing or able to, then is he a bad parent?

    DBT9,

as an athiest, (and i genuinely pray that your children are safe) if your child went out on their own and something bad happened to them,

    your fault or God's?
