A TP bid for AGO looked likely in the NYE rally, I even bought into the rally in January expecting a TO bid.
When no TO bid came, thought management would disclose at least something.
All signals were positive, pointed to AGO being able to ride through the IOP fall, then this AGO announcement.
FMG has more debt, VALE5 is suffering a Brazilian meltdown and BCI/ MGX must be close to the AGO position.
Why does consolidation not occur?
