So you are saying that being a super pit precludes them from supplying the smaller off-takes and also if they are dragon involved. That statement confused me unless I am missing something.

Those are not my words but those of AJ today.
When I was in business supplying the wholesale trade all business was good business provided they paid and the price they paid was all about quantity. No sensible trader puts all his eggs in one basket however big or small - it made no difference.
Therefore in conclusion unless you can explain otherwise "boutique" pits are not immune - in fact they should all be worried.
imo
