No, I don't think it is the same...not in this case. In any event there's too much separation between the unqualified statements and the pseudo-humble "just my thoughts". Which bits are just Ya's thoughts??
Ya has a habit of presenting "thoughts" as unassailable fact.
"That's the reason why Cairn have gone ahead...etc." This does not sound like a "thought" to me; it's presented as a fact. I don't think it is a fact. Surely you can see that Ya says it's a fact but it cannot at this stage be proven so. And it's a pseudo-fact with important connotations - it's saying that there will be no SNE increase until AFTER further drilling = more than six months down the track. Whereas we're all thinking it's around the corner.
