    TDA Nothing is free with majors it is all in the pricing one way or another. fall below your volume or target market and you are relegated to above the freezer or bottom of the choccy aisle quicker than you can blink so you lose vol, pricing etc and are managed out or just unviable . That is the big store retail game. Force suppliers to have to keep coming back to the table and majors have wholemarketing and product promo teams coming up with ideas etc..

    What are they missing out on - ability to have a special haloween yowie and subsequent demand or interest it could create. YOW chose to include a note they are are lodging? , planning space? , promotion for christmas. My comments are that they included that but have not made mention of halloween. I guess they should be too busy on standard product to even think about special seasonal offerings .

    I may be reading the announcement incorrectly and assuming it is a exclusive walmart offering or infact walmart invitation to lodge rather than a Yowie push to present a haloween product for their consideration as a separate seasonal stock item. With our current production rate I think we would need to start wrapping them now if growth is what i see as possible and limitation of current machines in place.

    People who know retail and how placement of product is introduced and holds it place are why that line was included in the presentation and retail analysts will prick up their ears if it is accepted. Any new line or promo is hugely time consuming to get over the line let alone to actually implement but from the Aussie historical evidence would be well worthwhile.

    Not huge volume today and a lot of churn I assume so good to see price hold and back up at a much more reasonable level for the stage we are at. Shame we were not starting from here rather than the last 6 months debarcle.

    Dazz I know you would get a laugh out of presentation and details on marketing. hell these guys need to get moving as you only get one introduction to your audience and you want to keep them once they visit website and social media. As others may realise Yowie isn't about selling chocs it is about the whole franchise going forward and the choc is just the bait to hook kids and get them involved. The inserts need a bigger link to website and QR barcodes for quick linking etc. I like the digital rewards but different ages are still needing tangible physical stuff other than enclosed toys so the sooner a Target walmart likes tshirts etc the better. I a always amazed disney didn't pick em up as it fits them like a glove and they are legends in the sector?

    Anyone watching the old yowi booksales and are they in reprint? If not why not if only for promotion to very young age group and digital to older more tech savvy demographic? do we hold book rights still as I haven't seen them mentioned nor rights to previous cartoon series and why haven't we bought em back?
