sadly i agree with the pump comment. there will come a time when these people (and i include myself) will be tested to this extent. but you need to ask yourself re your earlier church experiences - would you rather be with the hypocrites here now or later? whilst the churches to some degree are silent on the me issue, to their great shame, especially the mega churches in the us, there is a move outside the established arena to move back to the bible and what it teaches especially repentance.

i have heard this woman speak - she is from the area (mosel from memory which originally was known as ninevah - the residents had remained faithful to god since jonah) and still prays and reads the bible in aramaic - when she says the lords prayer in the language jesus spoke it semds chills up my spine.

but gz you must not forget that christian persecution is widespread not just the me - in india the hindus burn churches and throw their christian slaves in brick kilns if they show any dissent

and i remember someone in this forum when i mentioned that christians are being persecuted to a far greater extent than is reported that i was being overly dramatic.

lets not forget the muslim brotherhood who have very bloody hands - they were beheading christians in egypt long before isis burst on the scene - and the us govt knew this especially obama.
