Latest news tells of a $420million compo payment as being (according to the State Premier) the best outcome for the State. Guess the shareholders in those companies feel a bit relieved but the taxpayers get screwed well and truly. Victoria spends a billion on a desal plant & never gets used now a $420m payment for zilch. Hoping all the Labour voters feel great about the decision. If the Government were a listed company guess where the share price would be.
