Mr Costello is and was a true Liberal and not a conservative as
many on this board would wish.

Government Ministers favoured on these boards seem to be the
Big L Liberals (economic drys) which is code for Conservative.

Our Liberal Party was styled on the Pommy Liberals by Mr Menzies;
himself an English Liberal supporter.( He migrated to England for his retirement)

We should have an Australian Conservative party here so that the
New Right and genuine Conservatives can support it rather
than this Right having ambivalent feelings about the LNP
which is a broad church of Right-Centre and agrarian Socialists.

Liberals such as Malcolm Turnbull, John Heuston and Malcolm Fraser (RIP)
are the genuine Liberals in every meaning of the word.
