That is simply not true. Deaths from all the vaccinable diseases during the twentieth century fell by, for examples:

Polio - 80%
Diphtheria - 90%
Measles - 95%
Pertussis - 80%

before the vaccines were introduced (sources, UK and US health department records).

That is one of the most insidious lies promoted by the pro-vaccination brigade.
