From what I understand Harvoni is for G1 patients only and remains expensive, and cure rates of circa 99%.
BIT225 enhances current SOC to 100% cure rate for both G1 & G3. It is stable and cheap to produce. With harvoni entering the market, the current SOC i assume will become dirt cheap.
So compared to Harvoni: BIT + Current SOC will have a higher cure rate, treat more genotypes, and will be cheaper.....
BIT225 may also enhance Harvoni to higher cure rates in the G1.
Erradication of virus is not a 99% cure rate, its 100%.... That extra 1% has huge implications
