    "At least he told us he would ...... didn't he? He wouldn't lie?"

    Im no expert in the workings of parliament, but isnt their a case to answer for Swan about misleading the parliament?

    Im sure it would have been known in Treasury that the surpluses were a figment of his imagination and he was lying to parliament about it

    The only reason it was let slide by the opposition is so it could be used against them in an election campaign and we the taxpayer gets shafted
