As far as I recall there was a strategic R&D review of their entire pipeline which was done during that time at Teva. This did lead to quite a few discontinuations and divestments. MSB products were not a casualty in this which would suggest that the company saw strategic value in continuing with further development of those programs and therefore due diligence has to have been done.
