Funny you should mention them. I sold out of Triton totally during the latest spike, too much of a rollercoaster trader play thing while their investor base is so skitty. Maybe a stock to learn day trading on if you want to lose your shirt!
There are a few similarities between the 2.
TNG already have 4-5 excellent strategic relationships in place, our DFS is due within 3 months, and binding deals (*cough* which actually mean something), are soon to be signed. The company has said the Woojin deal is worth $200m alone (60% V offtake). Rough figures, you'd think the rest have to add up to a total of $600m+ p.a. easily.
TON have what, 1 pencilled in offtake agreement for $200m, with a company few have ever heard of? They are sitting at $137m market cap. TNG are at $106m.
TON are at least 6-12 months behind TNG in terms of their DFS. In their favour, they probably have enough graphite to supply the planet for 100 years from that lump of dirt in the middle of Africa (sovereign risk anybody?). They have no cornerstone investors.
It's hard for me to understand why TNG's SP is sitting where it is right now, if you look at the 2 side by side.
Let's see what Friday brings. I hope it's a pleasant surprise rather than a top up of project progression funds.
