As Apollo [ASX: AON] is our sister company, are we going to be next?
I see they are doing a 1:10 share consolidation turning their 675 million shares into just 67.5 million.
As the number of shares we have on issue are in the billions, one could assume it's on the cards for us too?
" ... the share consolidation will result in a more appropriate and effective capital structure for the company and a share price that is more appealing to a wider range of investors globally."
What they don't say in that ann is it will be also easier to raise more money by issuing more shares.
In my experience, I have found the sp generally slips after consolidations ... instead of maintaining a 3c price, we could quickly drift to 1.5c. Another way to lose money
