I had a chat with Neil Biddle yesterday to try and gain some insight as to how things are going with the TT approval process. He explained that the decision to go with the liner in the tailings dam has largely resolved the matter as far as DER is concerned and that liner cost is well under $90k to install so concerns about the potential high cost of doing this are unfounded. There are still administrative steps to be worked through prior to all permits being received and these are all in train. In April some of the hold up is due to the non availability of key bureaucrats but that delay should be well and truly over by the end of April. In short the end is in sight. I also heard that the mining camp is on site so it will just speed up the process of getting into production once all permits are granted.

I had a long list of preprepared questions on Tt and Pilgangoora which he answered without hesitation and whilst the items I sought clarification on they were just issues that are already in the public domain. I came away thinking that the projects remain on track for very good outcomes in this calendar year. The one thing that was of great interest to me was his ongoing belief that we will end up with a large resource when the current drilling program is completed in the next three months. That I found very reassuring.

I asked when the next drill results were due and he advised that the final sample results were due very soon. From that I think than an announcement will probably come out as early as late next week??

You know there are heaps of conflicting opinions on how these matters are progressing so I just suggest that if you are in any doubt give Neil Biddle a call and he may be able to explain some of these matters to your satisfaction. I have been making the odd call to him once or twice a year for about 9 years for info on TNG and now PLS. He is a straight shooter and I have never heard any bad comments about people who have done that. He did mention that he will be travelling a bit in the weeks to come with all the things that are happening.

PS I remain very patient (except with lazy, ignorant posters on HC) and very excited about the future of PLS. For goodness sake please DYOR and lots of it. This mining space requires some insight not just a quick gamble.
