knowing transport extremely well these guys are in a world of hurt and more trouble than one would want to think of...their contract terms will have been marginally above B/E (hopefully 5%) over a 4-5 year period with any real profit on the contract coming upon the final sale of the equipment. Tolls / Linfox all price that way.
The fact that the suspension notice clearly states material impact and that is now 11 days post this announcement (and 14 days from Atlas suspension) with not a word from the company is extremely concerning. Lenders at MCS will be scrambling to execute security as up to half of the profit of the group was being generated by the Atlas contract. Get ready for the vultures to start swooping at Rowsthorne will be need to offload anything he can to start cutting deals.
