At one point in time I was thinking of putting money in Newsat, but after doing some due dilligence the warning signals were blaring loudly, especially in regards to management.
At that time the MC of Newsat was over $150m. Just as the company went into administration the MC was four times that of the current SBB's MC.
Just think about that for a second. A company that was obviously in financial distress with beyond questionable management practices had a MC four times that of a financially sound, profitable business.
I have no doubt posters putting the boot into SBB, questioning everything about the validity of the business and even putting forward the notion of the company being a fraud, at the same time had money in NWT and weren't thinking twice about the investment.
