Hi
@Milanese68 –
You raised a very important point of being positive and reading posts which gets you in a positive mindset. I share the same sentiments and follow a similar approach. I try not to allow the negativity of non holders affect me too much.
I would like to share my line of thinking for the announcement day, and maybe someone else also might find it relevant. This is especially important since the last time around, earlier this month, we had around 700 comments and 80% of it was spam from non holders with 1 line posts of how the sky is falling. Valuable points of long termers and TON old timers was buried amongst the spam.
1) Thorough due diligence of your own –
I am assuming by now everyone has formed a basic idea of TON. If not, this is the first step which probably should be done over the weekend, and not on Monday morning. I’ve made a summary of some analysis over here in case there is still anybody who does has not researched TON

2) Day trader vs Short termer vs Long termer –
There is no right approach and everyone must play according to their strengths IMHO.

Above is a comment I passed in March. TON has just moved from around 15 to 25 in one day. Everyone was expecting a mega move the next day but it rose to around 28 and crashed to 22. Of course, as usual, non holders were quick to predict the demise of TON.
I passed the above comment to show that if you are a long termer, then that day was of little consequence to you.
Note that DT and STT and some combination of the above also have their merits but IMHO, one must identify one’s strengths and play to them, and IMHO have some idea now itself on what they would do on Monday. IMHO, on Monday, it is best to just download the announcement, read it yourself and form a thorough opinion of one’s own before listening to others. There is no one correct and perfect approach.
3) Negative comments –
I never intended to post this comment originally and actually deleted it the first time around, but there were too many comments that seemed to be purely for the purpose of downramping, and valuable comments of others were being buried in a sea of spam when YXGC offtake was announced. It might be helpful to understand that many non holders could be simply shorting TON or as some others said, downramping was for purpose of trading the volatility of TON. Other reasons are mentioned by me in below point – shareholders and stakeholders of other graphite companies, potential shareholders hoping for lower price, and those who simply have an inherent bias against TON.

I always form an opinion of every commenter, as it is always useful to know whether or not to read their comment again. It becomes especially important on mega days like Monday where the TON forum will likely experience an even bigger meltdown than the last time around. I have to questions the reasons if certain non holders post 20 1 line comments of fear mongering as was the case the last time around.
4) BYD
I see some people talking about BYD. The name BYD came up in a conversation 11 days back, and below was my brief input on the same. Just a quick look at someone new to the name BYD

5) Downramping vs upramping –
This IMHO is one of the most important points. During the last intense downramping session, some of the people indulging in downramping were actually accusing TON holders of upramping. Nothing could be further from the truth.
I understand that non holders also can and should comment, but if it is 20 comments each and include bizarre ones accusing TON and YXGC of making up stories, etc., then indulging in such debate, sucks valuable energy out of TON shareholders who are in for a longer haul. I for one would prefer to simply put out the long term FA, and then let each investor decide their strategy. Those who want to sell can sell, and those who want to hold/buy can do so.
So, I composed a list of very valid questions that could be asked of SYR.
http://hotcopper.com.au/threads/recent-movement-and-road-ahead.2486301/page-129?post_id=15070067
My point was simple – if the non holders were really “concerned” about “saving” TON shareholders, then surely they would also have doubts to ask of SYR shareholders. But amazingly, the non holders are only concerned about saving TON holders. IMHO, I have to question the intentions of a non holder raising tons of queries about TON but none about a company valued 4 times that our ours. So, if they are not asking questions of the other company, then I for one have to question their credibility and personally do not waste too much time reading their comments.
For that reason
@tobyjack is the only non holder whose comments I always read
6) Some reliable long termers -
@antonswig @johnnycrash @pizza @samwiise @zztrader
@mozmet @Pauldola @Don @Rat1973 @jackarooz @earlyrise @king louie
@CaptainMorgan
These are some of the reliable long termer holders whose comments I always try to read. There are many more whose names I’ve accidentally skipped above - so please forgive me in advance. Everyone might have formed their own list by now. Above names might help readers get more technical info from comments of above who IMHO are long termers (no particular order and no offence intended to anyone accidentally skipped)
http://hotcopper.com.au/threads/recent-movement-and-road-ahead.2486301/page-61?post_id=15023383
I added some names to the original list I composed in the above thread
On the big day, if there are 700 comments of spam, then I would be searching for comments from the above.
7) Conclusion –
It is going to be an interesting day and if past history is any indication, then there could be a lot of misinformation floating around.
If past history is any indication, then I won't be surprised to hear all sorts of horror stories of how BB and AJ made it all up, how the other party does not exist, how the contacts are not signed, how the contract is in the wrong language, how the agreement is not binding, how the other party does not have money for uniforms, how BB and AJ are going to be abducted by aliens in UFOs, etc.
IMHO, it is important to do thorough due diligence and have a rough idea now itself of what to do in alternate situations. Above, I shared my line of thinking, and if it helps anyone, then I’m glad to have shared it. Cheers and all the best. Have a great weekend everybody
