Yes, and that is purely Australia's fault.... Australia needs to harden up otherwise they will always be the laughing stock of the world. If these Indonesian pilots were caught doing a crime they should've been held fully accountable to Australian law in the same way as anyone else would be - no questions asked. This example just re-emphasises my point that laws are laws and Australia are showing some serious naivety if they think letting people off is ever going to be in the best interest of anyone. All that does is give people disrespect for laws and encourages more crime.

The even more frustrating thing about Australia is that they will let these criminals go, however they will spend so much time and money focussing on things which just don't matter. For example, last time I was in Australia I got a fine by a hidden camera for driving at 45km/hr in a 40 zone. Real big picture stuff that is.

I was born in Australia and it is my home. However for the last 10 years I have spent the majority of my time overseas in various countries. The more I see of the world, cultures, values and just in general what people have to go through I get very frustrated by the attitudes of the people who lead Australia.
