People get concerned about recent share price rises. They worry about the size of the rise. I've seen many frenzies for stock before especially during the dot com boom. You see charts like the following AZK chart (I've added in the last 2 candlesticks by way of example).
Then people look back at the current action - and it looks tame in comparison. Never underestimate the stampede of the herd when it believes that it is on a stock with the greatest potential that is has seen for years.
