M.oz I share your concern re the expenses/working capital situation... nonetheless, I feel they have a platinum bucket to keep them going.. IMO..
However, I do not agree that signing an agreement will mean money in the door. ECT has to fund all or some of the Demo Plant. IMO this may be the cause of the protracted negotiations ie who pays for what and how. Platinum may be there for this also, to work the Option conversion that may hopefully fund the Demo plant. If all Options are taken up then that's worth about A$24m. Remember the ALDP(Gov't grant) also needed ECT cash input via, dare I say it the CSI.. Monash. Same will apply here, NLC/NMDC(may supply some grant/funding) together with ECT funding (either from Options conversion and/or CSI - Maybe YES bank?
Timing is critical here, the Agreement announcement>SP rise>Option conversion>(Consolidation?)>$to pay for Coldry Commercial Demo and Matmor pilot construction. The Options will only be worth taking up if the heads SP is above .02c. and trending upwards..
One can see the enormity of this deal and the complexity that must be involved, The only way that ECT will start making money is when Coldry starts producing those pellets and ECT will get royalties from licensing the technology to the tune of up to $5 a ton..

Once again, not a share for the faint hearted, as all sorts of scenarios play in our heads the longer an announcement is delayed, especially for an R&D, cash strapped coy. BUT.. announcements to date all seem to lead to ECT working diligently for the advancement of the Coldry and Matmor techs. in an environment screaming for it..
