Hi theone.
Just over $22 per tonne + $25 shipping per tonne to China + Debt repayment.
With 40Mtpa exported brings the shipping cost down to $21 they said to Chinas. The $22 to produce will come down and be announced later.
I still believe they will start off producing at least 50Mtpa, which will bring the cost down again.
If they start off exporting some iron ore to Europe from the start, shipping would be around $11 to 13 cheaper per tonne to export.
How many other iron ore companies include their Debt repayment dollars in their costings?
Regards
Westcott.
