Any advice on setting trailing stop losses today? Every way I look at it (getting stopped out at open price after a 10-20% rise depending on your trail; getting stopped out near bottom if we go straight down - not too concerned about that one) stop losses don't seem a no-brainer.

To me it makes sense to perhaps have the trail kick in at .45 or above and set around 10% to avoid selling at today's open. But then a 10% sl is going to bring a higher chance of getting locked out of further rises, whereas a 15-20% will leave you closer to the open with less to gain from selling.

So confused.
