Once again you resort to huge generalisations. Just because I oppose one type of welfare doesn't mean I oppose all types. That is ludicrous. Nor did I say it should be refused based on looks. There really is no point in continuing this argument with you because you are not open to discussion. You lie about UBI being used, when it isn't and never has been. You just don't have the life experiences to realise that you can't generalise about humans behaviour. Everyone acts differently. Guy Standing, according to his bio, has never done a day's productive work in his life, which is how he is able to spout such garbage. The whole UBI premise is based on optimistic ignorance (nobody knows how this will work, but it's such a good idea we should do it anyway).
The Commons served their purposes when we had much smaller populations. If they were reintroduced now (whether literally, or as UBI) it will end in riots, as there isn't enough money to go round. Greece will look like a children's party by comparison.
