FlaminGalah, in a democracy your lifestyle choice to go to a movie clashed with the rights of Aborigines to protest about matters ranging from genocide to cultural insensitivity, even under laws that they played no part in establishing. It's hard for me to place your movie viewing ahead of the interests of Aborigines.
History records that the anti-Vietnam War moratoriums led to the end of the Vietnam War.
Given the already strong and rapidly growing support for these protest rallies against what Collin Barnett and Tony Abbott are doing to Aborigines; who knows what impact they will have in the lead up to the 2016 Election. The ascerbic fear on this thread expressed by pro-Abbott sympathisers suggests to me that we'll yet again see Abbott buckle at the knees and do yet another policy backflip before his backbenchers muscle up and show him the door.
