This caused the 2007 GFC Skol. If you have articles in early 2007 warning about subprime loans I would like to read them.
Debt is ok if it is manageable. Australia's debt is becoming unmanageable and the USA is just out of control. They can just keep printing money but real debt has to be repaid eventually.
Higher taxes and lower welfare will solve debt problems with the lowering of living standards for most Australians.
The RBA must realise lowering interest rates is not solving the economic problems we are facing. Good for home buyers, nobody else.
Farmers get screwed by banks, Coles, Woolworths, so poor farmer get it tough.
