Impossibility to have that tonnage at that grade? Doesn't make sense to some to crush the higher grades first?

Let's do a little exercise. First of all look at page 6 with the LM1 dig plan and look at all the grades written in dark blue (grades greater than 10%) plenty to be seen. Well each one of those grades represent an area of 2.5 × 2.5 × 5 = 31.5 cubic metres. Multiply that by an SG of 2.88 equals 90 tonne.

Now if you go to page 9 and look at detail 5 you will see (Take my word for it or double check if you wish) 38 grades greater than 10% averaging 17.599% copper with each one being 90 tonne or roughly a dump truck which also happens to be $130 000 worth of copper in today's terms.

Now those 38 loads at 90 tonne equal 3 420 tonne at 17.599% Cu. If you wish to count the grades greater than 5% you will find 45 with a total tonnage of 4 050 @ 7.688%. Add that with the plus 10% grades will give you 7 470 tonne @ 12.22% Cu

Now please return to page 6 and look at the LM1 dig plan again and remember detail 5 grades which is to the far right in regards to its small area and reconsider if you dont believe it is possible to have 200 000 tonne on the stockpiles grading 9.48% considering this is only one bench of 5 metres depth.
