Ok After a quick read of the first article, a few things spring immediately to mind.

1.. None of this has actually happened yet.
2. There is no statement regarding a guarantee to produce/supply, so what are the terms of supply.? A normal contractor would be locked into producing X amount or penalties apply.
3. There is no proof that it is going to be profitable, out of 24 bidders, 14 dropped out.
4. How many times have we seen companies go broke not only in renewable energy., but just simply underquoting on large jobs.
5. Its going to take quite a few years to be able to prove viability a t least until maintenance and replacement come of age.
6. You would think that Dubai would have to be one of the best places to have a crack at something like this. Even then a good sand storm could finish them.

There's along way to go with this baby IMO.
