It's the old game of brinkmanship up to the wire. Both sides are playing it.
Yesterday IMF said that it's charter rules prohibit lending to states that cannot afford to repay.
Tomorrow IMF says it could advance sums for liquidity purposes.
etc.
Greece won't leave the euro period. Tsapris is playing hardball concession gouging. If he can strangle half a billion dollars of concessions out of this delay it is to Greece's benefit. So why not.
Watch the EZ markets rip when an agreement is reached. But be prepared to wait to maybe June 30ish.
