TeTeTe
TeTeTe not sure why you use price to book for a "service" company like REA. Price to book is irrelevant for a company that has a high return on capital and doesn't use its "assets" (ie factory, rail, port, shop, office etc) to generate it's return. If you did a P/B of any fund manager you would see that their p/b is crap! Their value is all about their total funds under management and the skill of managers to deliver superior returns and get performance fees.
As for REA it's asset is the website / marketing platform, they don't revalue this regularly. You don't value the website as a traditional asset.
Their office/property value doesn't dictate their ability to deliver returns, to them they could work in a multi billion dollar office in Sydney or a cheap warehouse in Queensland.
Price to book is irrelevant measure for non capital intensive companies.
