Those are Options. Options to buy shares exercisable in this case at 2.5c at Sept 17.
You can either take up your options on that date or let them expire.
Options put money directly into the Companies bank account as they are the issuer.
Obviously you would exercise your options if the shares were more than 2.5c by then..
