Diligent, the issues you mentioned are not unique to remote Aboriginal communities so why restrict your comments to them? If Tony Abbott was serious about issues such as domestic violence he would't have slashed funding an knee-capped confidence in that area. Likewise with public health, public education and community infrastructure; if Abbott was fair dinkum he would have explained a detailed strategic plan for tackling issues in remote Aboriginal communities.
His decision to jusy shoot his mouth off is not a substitute for listening, engaging and respecting Aborigines.
