Diligent, not once have I ever suggested that the issues impacting Aboriginal communities be hidden, ignored or treated lightly. Indeed, the reverse is true and the practice by some posters of trying to put words in my mouth reflects on their desperation, not on my vales or my resolve.

Treating aborigines respectfully and engaging with them to achieve better outcomes is exactly opposite to hiding issues. Forcibly closing their communities without prior consultation and engagement by government is another matter altogether - something we associate with totlitarian regimes.
